Pushing aside his juvenile use of something she had just told him to stop, Sarah shook her head slightly. "And you never will find them, even if you devoted every second of your existence to it," she said, the twist of her lips entirely a smirk and thoroughly confident to boot. She was baiting him, and she knew it. It wasn't the fact Peter couldn't die that made her so supremely confident and so willing to make statements that would provoke Jareth; no, this confidence was born out of knowing Jareth wouldn't get the chance to kill Peter again.
"At the risk of repeating everything I said to you in the Labyrinth when we won," she said, sighing as though dealing with an incredibly stupid individual, "I'll stick to the basic concept." The necklace glittered again as her shoulders followed the head turn, the smirk fading to a clear expression of pity. "You lost. Nothing you can do will ever result in anything more than continued loss."
