Re: Wash & River - 9 p.m.
While leaving Simon's side had become almost a sport on Serenity, the time she had spent in this new old world, and his healing bullet wound, had encouraged her to stick steady. Still, all teenaged girls needed their space, and while there were plenty of places to roam on the TARDIS, River sometimes slipped out onto the streets for a chance to explore. There were so many strange people, and no blue hands reaching around corners to grab her again.
River creeped her fingers down the bar, her body following until her face was infront of the glass of straws. She watched them for a long moment, before looking at Wash.
And kept on looking.
"You don't put cathodes in milk." She said, finally, one hand surfing the countertop until it reached the glass. Up went her body onto the stool, which she spun once before stopping herself with her foot.
