Anakin nodded. "It's alright," he said. "We've been over it once before, but it was some time ago. And my circumstances are somewhat unique."
He paused for a moment, considering how to explain before deciding to just say it. Ahsoka had needed the entire story, having missed most of it. But Jaina had history to guide her, as well as her parents and uncle.
"I am Anakin Skywalker. My last recollection from my former life was upon the second Death Star, over the moon of Endor. I had just killed the Emperor, before he could kill my son. I asked him to remove my mask, so I could see him. Just once, with my own eyes." Anakin smiled gently at the memory. There had been a bit more between he and Luke then, but that was between them.
"I died. And I took my next breath in this city. Restored by the Force, as Anakin Skywalker. With the body I had borne with that name."
