The moment was awkward for her, maybe. Sam didn't seem to notice it. He had lost the ability to even feel awkward. He was always pretty comfortable with himself and others. Unless he was angry. But if he was angry, then he'd be just a little more expressive than usual. That definitely didn't fall under the awkward category.
"Save a few lives, have a little sex," Sam said with an air of amusement, "Sex with me. I think you're the one getting the better deal out of this, don't you? Especially since I'm not going to kill you." Again: yet. Sam hadn't even paid Heather much attention until she spoke. He looked over at her, his eyes, which were currently it's normal shade of green, skimmed her over. Well, he always did have a thing for blondes. And this one wasn't all that horrible looking. In fact, Sam could see what the other him saw in her. On the physical level. He didn't know much about her personality except for that she was probably very brave or unbelievably stupid. He was still deciding on that.
