It was easy to break free once Elizabeth had left.. considering the condition he was in. But he was a warlock. He did know a few incantations. Like transforming the silk ribbons into that of paper. And making the window explode outward. He had went to sit back on the bed once he'd sent his last messages on the Graffiti board. The wax that was on him, which seemed to harden somewhat by now, the burn he felt under it.. just moving around seemed to hurt.
It also didn't help that he had twin wounds by his shoulders, from those special knives. He still didn't know what kind they were. And then there were the bamboo shoots used under the majority of his nails. Both hands. He looked up then, when the door flung off the hinges. he was momentarily thinking it was Liz coming back for more.. but no. It was Danica, the pretty vampire he'd chosen to work for. "Danica..." He made a slight sobbing sound as she cradled him.
"I'm sorry.. should have called sooner. Look what they did. Did to me.. to my shirt.." He wiped his face, looking up into her eyes. He seemed glad that she was here now. "The other woman, the doctor. She's coming? Right? I hope she can fix me." He held up his hands and spread his fingers out. He winced then, at the pain that caused, from the damage to his nails. "I'm glad you're here now. Sorry that.. you had to look for me before.."
