"I figured." she responded with a nod. The thought still depressed her, and she wish Elaine could stay. Though someone had to save the Universe, everyone had their jobs to do. Kara blinked, and looked at the gate. She had forgotten that Elaine couldn't see what she was doing. Well, she hadn't forgot, but it never seemed like Elaine was blind...it was just..different.
"I won't." she said with a nod, securing her grip on Elaine's hand as best she could. She didn't want to close her eyes, but the glow was intense, and as much as she didn't want to miss anything, blue eyes shut lightly, ducking her head a little from the brightness. She'd hate to see how it could be to extremely bright from human eyes.
When the light that made it through her eye lids seemed to die off a little, she let her eyes flutter open. Kara was very use to looking down at planets from this high up. She was use to it, so it wasn't that much of a shock, but it still was a sight to see.
It was hard to see hedgehogs as homo sapiens, but Kara figured she would get use to it. It was a different planet, only this time she looked different from them. It didn't matter. She gazed down at the planet, it looked different from Earth, much different. "And you created all of this." she breathed out. It wasn't a question, it was a statement, and she was in awe just a bit. This was absolutely amazing.
