Well, there went that progress she'd been so hoping she was making. Her lips pursed and she had to remind herself that a little chat over cooking dinner was going to fix everything. It was going to take more than an hour or so to fix Bellatrix Black.
But hell, she had to get points for trying. For at least showing the girl that as a halfblood she wasn't some raving lunatic. She'd had just as much right to attend Hogwarts as Bella.
"'That boy' is my father, and a good man," Dora said lightly, as if she was simply stating a truth. There was no thought of confrontation in her voice; that wasn't the way to deal with Bella. "He wasn't right and by my time, he wasn't even human. How would someone not even human know what's best for you? What was it Molly Weasley always said... don't trust anything if you're not sure where it keeps its brain? Something along those lines; it's true though. Same goes for its heart.
"I know how you've been raised, and I know I'm not going to change seventeen years of breeding instantly, but just see if Remus and I can't change your mind about a few things."
