Claude just grinned in the face of anger. It was an understandable reaction given everything. He'd never expected to get out of their first encounter after almost a year unscathed. That would have just been foolishness, and despite the opinions of many people who had known him in his youth, Claude was far from a fool.
"Fuck if I know," He said with a shrug. He certainly hadn't been able to explain most of the things that had happened since he had arrived here. He, however, was starting to think there was much more in play here than misreading the schedule board at Heathrow. "Certainly wasn't where I was aiming for, that's for goddamn sure. 'Course, I could just as easily ask you the same question."
Los Angeles was leagues away from Odessa, after all. Houston, Austin, Dallas. Those would have been the places that Claude would have guessed the Petrelli brothers would have ended up after the fiasco that he'd witnessed if they hadn't gone directly back home. "Not exactly a prime vacation spot, as far as I'm concerned, but each to their own, I suppose."
