Where: Wolfram & Hart's lab
Rating: TBD

Even though she had been present during the negotiations that had ultimately led to the Princess of the Fire Nation joining Wolfram & Hart, Charlie had yet to really speak with the woman. She knew what her file said. She knew how dangerous she was. She knew how calculating and manipulative she was capable of being. She even knew the rudimentary psych evaluation done by the resident telepathic counselor (and wasn't that fun, having your brain scanned without you even knowing about it?) had come back with the result that the woman might just be on this side of insanity.
Yet, really, Charlie knew nothing about her.
So, she decided to change that. She did some asking around and learned that the scientists were going to be holding a little 'after hours' meeting with the firebender to show her a few possibilities of technological advances that she could take back to her beloved nation to help them win the war. The meeting was set to begin at six and Charlie, knowing how long-winded the science department could be, gave them an hour to get started before making her way to the laboratory. Charlie figured she'd know how the progress was going by the amount of people who were fleeing the floor in sheer terror. She was pleasantly surprised when she stepped off the elevator and didn't see any death or destruction, nor hear any screams of terror or pleas of mercy.
Pushing open the door, she headed inside and glanced around at the various men wearing the various white jackets. It was easy to spot Azula - not only was she not wearing one of the jackets, she was also the only other female present. Yet, Charlie had to admit, that wasn't the real reason. Even if she'd been dressed just like the others, she still would have stood out. There was something about her presence that made people take notice of her.
"Miss McGee!" one of the men spoke up - Fred, she was pretty sure that was his name - and she tipped her head at him in acknowledgment before turning her attention to the princess.
"I was just wondering how it was going. Is the staff meeting your expectations so far?" she questioned in an even tone, not stepping down into the rest of the room just yet, nor pulling her hands from the pockets of her leather jacket. She appeared just as calm and casual as always. And, really, why shouldn't she be? Unless Azula started hurling lightning bolts her way, she had nothing to fear from this woman in the slightest.
