Davy turned around now, to stare up into the dark corridor to stare at the girl who dared to speak to him about his love affair. He stepped forward so that the lingering sunlight of the evening reflected off his face. His eyes brimmed with the distinct redness of tears that gave a further fire to his ice blue eyes.
