The smell of the food hit her and for the first time in a while she realized how hungry she was.
"You wanna take a swing?" She offered him a tired smile as she sat next to him. "Never been accused of being smart."
Her hand went to the bite mark from Deacon again. He'd bitten her over the bite from Angelus, his mark more precise than Angelus's more ragged attack.
"Deacon's a vampire. One who may be a little tiny bit addicted to Slayer blood now and also swearing to kill me. But he does it in a nicer way to Creed without swearing to make me scream part. And y'know, he's really hot." She sighed. "Not exactly the way I pictured men fighting over me. So, who's Creed more likely to go after, Deacon or me?"
She toyed with a ketchup bottle left on the counter. "Last time I let someone really in he made me go evil and start killing people you know."
