Glancing at Sam Faith got the impression that he meant it, that he really did know what it was like. She wiped a hand over her face roughly, just in case there was any trace of tears in her eyes before smiling awkwardly.
"Thanks."
She wasn't great with the talking thing, or emotions or any of that crap. But she did mean it. She looked once more at the bodies around her and any smart ass retort died quickly. She'd finally had enough of this. Not that she was sure how to stop, but she finally wanted to.
She shoved her hands in the pockets of her jeans, shrugging slightly with an small, embarrassed smile.
