Every so often the network would flood with messages from people wondering where they were now. Alessa hadn't read anything into these sporadic appearances, but today one certain arrival actually had her nervous. The arrival of Travis Grady. Last time Alessa saw him she was seven years old, her mother had just burned her, and she was using Travis as a pawn. She had forgotten what happened to him, but once he arrived in the city it soon became hard not to remember.
She hadn't meant to, but she found herself searching the mind of the trucker. She discovered that in his mind it was still 1976, and his last location was Silent Hill. Even more disturbing were the fresh memories Travis had of killing at least three people back in Silent Hill. Alessa quickly left his mind after that. She knew that Travis himself wasn't entirely responsible for these people's deaths. He had only killed them, because they looked like monsters.
And they looked like monsters thanks to Alessa.
The guilt that she was feeling was not aimed towards any of those who were killed. No, Alessa didn't give a shit about them. A small part of her felt upset for turning Travis into a killer. And what if Travis should find her? Sure she was older now, and perhaps he wouldn't recognize her, but the woman didn't want to take any chances.
She needed to, no, wanted to talk to somebody. The only person she felt comfortable talking to was her future incarnation. As promised, Alessa arrived at Heather's apartment in a matter of a minute, and knocked on the girl's door.
