...Okay, so maybe it was still amusing and just a little adorable. Heather couldn't really fight off a smile at the sight of Cricket's behavior and Sam's pleasant reaction to it. That didn't mean she wanted the dog jumping all over him, but she seemed to be behaving so far.
"It's no problem," she said, stepping away from the couch to admire her work for a minute. The couch in itself was pretty comfortable, and Heather had fallen asleep many times while just sitting on it. She didn't feel too guilty about him sleeping there, considering that. "Think of it as me paying you back for what you've done to help me." She was referring to the night that he'd come over and cleaned up her bathroom and helped her through her last cutting episode, but he'd obviously helped her much more than that, as well.
"Need anything else?" she asked a moment later. "I mean, you know where the bathroom is, and the kitchen's over there, but..." She shrugged, unsure of how to really play host in this situation.
