The place definitely didn't look all too pretty. He scanned the area, frowning at the sight of it all, then considered the kitchens ahead for a moment before he heard Heather from the other side of the room. Tilting his head a little to get a look at her as she moved the chair, he quickly made his way to her side, reaching her just as she climbed onto it. He heard it too, just then. Something was in there.
"Just...keep your head back," he told her, looking slightly hesitant. Then he extended his flashlight toward her so she could make use of it and propped his gun up against the wall beside the chair. It seemed more likely that she'd be able to see up there with him supporting her, as he was massively tall, so Sam put an arm around her legs and started to push her upward so that she was closer to the vent than before.
