Jaina knew the moment he'd left the battle. Caedus was, if anything, a creature of habit and rarely did he stick around to simply witness a fight take place. No, if he went to this much trouble, it was obvious he wanted to escape. Unfortunately there wasn't a thing Jaina could do to stop him as she fought for her life against what felt like hoards of vampires that were coming out of seemingly nowhere.
Then she sensed another presence and could not honestly say when she had ever been happier to have Tenel Ka arrive on the scene. She didn't state as much, of course - she wouldn't have even if she wasn't up to her ears in the undead - but she was glad the woman was there. Partially because it would make dealing with the vampires easier and partially because now they had undeniable proof that Jacen wasn't who he claimed to be.
Slicing through another vampire and impaling two on an errant bit of wood from a nearby broken crate, Jaina replied in a low tone, "I don't know, Tenel Ka. You're the one who was supposed to be keeping an eye on him!"
