Jaina didn't bother correcting him a second time. Let him keep calling her his sister. If he thought it bothered her, he wasn't going to stop and since it didn't really affect her like it once did, she wasn't going to argue about it. Instead she stayed where she was and continued to watch him, knowing he was planning something and knowing, whatever it was, she wasn't going to be fond of it.
"All I see," she replied, "is a pathetic excuse for a sentient being who has deluded himself into thinking he's unstoppable." She smiled coldly. "And who is about to be proven wrong by his own dear sister." Her grip on her lightsaber tightened but Jaina wasn't able to make any move before several vampires began to appear from the nearby alleys.
With a heavy sigh at the creatures getting between her and Caedus, Jaina eyed one. "Do you mind?" she snapped. "We're in the middle of something."
The only response she received was a veritable hiss before one of the vampires launched itself at her. A quick swing of her lightsaber and he turned to dust, but was soon replaced by another. Jaina fought them off as they appeared, having long since outgrown the need to really put much effort behind battles with fledglings. As she moved through the ever-increasing pile of dust, she did her best to keep an eye on Caedus. She wasn't a fool, she knew this was a ploy on his part, and she wasn't going to let this distraction work. He was not getting away. Not this time.
