It wasn't so much the feeling of a new arrival within the Force but rather a... shift in it, that caught Jaina's attention. She had been on her way to the store when the disturbance had first occurred and it had taken her a mere matter of seconds to decide to investigate. Always trust your gut was a rule of thumb she tended to live by, and right now her gut was saying that something was going on and she needed to be there.
So she took to the streets, allowing the Force to guide her, and was relieved to realize that she was much closer than she'd originally thought. For sure enough, just up ahead, was none other than Jacen. Too far still to see him face to face, but close enough that she knew it was her brother.
And now that she knew that fact, she was torn. On one hand she was tempted to just turn around and go back the way she'd come. On the other, though, there was that feeling that something wasn't quite right. Finally, Jaina decided to investigate a little further. Better safe than sorry, especially when it came to her twin.
As it turned out, investigating was a good idea for no sooner had Jaina made it a handful of steps or so toward him did she realize just what seemed so off about him.
That's not Jacen... The thought was a sobering one and already her lightsaber was in her hand as she greeted the man by his newly chosen name.
"Darth Caedus. It's about time you finally showed yourself," she stated coldly as her lightsaber surged to life. She wasn't about to let him get away again... and may the Force help anyone who tried to get in her way.
