The Slayer had no idea what the woman meant by reinforcements even still, but she didn't give it much thought. Obviously, someone else was going to be showing up, but she just didn't know who. It didn't matter, especially when Buffy put her head back down on the pillow and began to drift off immediately.
The sound of footsteps caused her eyes to open a slit, and it was then that she saw Spike standing there. So he was the reinforcement. "What are you doing here?" she asked, picking her head up once again. "I didn't think you were ever stepping foot in this place again."
