He blinked and looked up. "Wait.. Raven? So those dreams, they were real." He raked a hand through his hair. His brows crinkled. Mariko, that name sounded so familiar, he could hear her voice on the wind. And for some reason he felt the tightness in the back of his throat, but he didn't know why.
Logan felt bad for the guy for a brief second. "S'always over a woman. Always." That was the truth. Then why did men keep fallin' for 'em and lettin' the pain keep hold of 'em. Because men were too stupid to say no. Logan knew why he did. Wanted to prove he was worth it, he could be loved and love back in return. It was now painfully obvious he couldn't. "No matter how fucked up we may be, there's always someone more fucked up out there somewhere. And you can bet yer ass they're gonna cross our path eventually."
He looked over at him warily. "How 'bout you. Never been one single woman that you really cared about?" Logan wondered if maybe he had hurt her and that's why Creed hated him.
"First. Gotta know one thing." He sighed inwardly. This answer he didn't really want to know, but he needed to. "Did I sign up for.. ya know?" Stryker said he had, but he didn't believe that bastard. Not sayin' he'd believe Creed either.
