Honestly, she didn't know why she kept doing this to herself. And she really couldn't blame Sam, either, which actually made things worse. He'd been very clear with her on certain things, and yet a part of her still felt more than a little elated whenever they spoke or were in one another's company. It was all so stupid of her, and yet she did it every time. Maybe if she'd learn for once, she would stop being so disappointed when things didn't turn out exactly how she wanted.
