Max was waiting for her friend on the roof, knowing that she needed to be up there when he arrived first so that he didn't key off any alarms and second so that he didn't accidentally drive the car off the roof and onto the street below. Definitely looked like a possibility with that landing. She'd told him not to drive and inside she knew that she'd been absolutely right. Max wasn't going to brag though, at least not now. She'd wait until he was really concious.
"I can't believe you flew this thing on Valium, Wayne is going to kill you," Max muttered to herself as she reached across the hood of the car to the pannel with the emergency latch that would let her open the hood from the outside. She was pretty sure she wasn't supposed to know where that was, but it really shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that she did.
She could only shake her head when she saw Terry slumped over inside. "God, what the hell. Did he spinal tap the stuff into you or something? Terry? Terry, can you hear me?" At a skinny five foot six she wasn't going to be able to get him out of there by herself and she wanted to avoid involving anyone else. Secret (or not so secret) identities and all.
"Terry!" Max said again, raising her voice slightly. She reached inside, hitting him none too gently.
