Bender eyed the man warily before laughing. "Or maybe it was just some kid like me trying to scare you guys." He shifted on the desk more comfortably and took off his coat, chucking it on the floor beside the desk.
He shrugged when Jack declined the cigarette and lit one for himself and stuffed it in his mouth. His eyes widened when the pirate mentioned what era he was from. "Long way from home, aren't you? Time and place." he remarked and took the bottle from him, taking a couple of swigs himself before handing it back.
"Me? I'm from the 1986. 19 years ago from now. Same country, though apparently my home town, Shermer doesn't exist in this world."
