Through the fights and struggles she watched him endure all she saw was a beautiful, self sacrificing soul. It glowed like the moon. To those that worshiped the sun his more subtle light might not be impressive. But to those that had lived in the dark for so long it was a beautiful sight to behold.
"Two." She held up two slender fingers. "There are two people, well, one person and a very old vampire, who happen to think you are a good man."
Looking at the hand she held up she smiled, the dark bruise that had circled the bite was gone. Even though the bite mark its self still remained. The bright pink color had faded to a light silver, a shiny tone of her pale skin.
She looked at him, her eyes beaming with adoration. "You fixed me." Not entirely, though she could still feel the warmth as it moved through her. Selene still felt completely exhausted.
With her eyes closed she folded her hands over her heart. "You have a beautiful soul, I can feel it."
