Her legs uncrossed and then she crossed them the other way. Her Lekku, the Tchun-Tchin both, spiraled and turned like ribbons at this revelation! The expression on her face was not one of shock or surprise though. No. It was intrigue.
Obi-Wan was wrong. It wasn't as if she held him up on some lofty platform of worship despite his position and reputation with the council. True, he was immensely talented and strong with the force- His abilities were amazing actually but Obi-Wan was better than his talent alone. He was resourceful and wily...a great story teller and above all kind. She'd bet her life on his gut instinct alone. She respected him a great deal.
"I am really not at all surprised." She said while a smile eased out sweetly and earnestly. Aayla was highly empathic and she knew what a good heart Obi-Wan had. It would make sense for him to want to share that with some one. "They must have been completely deserving. To capture the heart and mind of Obi-Wan Kenobi?" She teased him," Seriously, I can't believe you'd trifle with such emotions." She wondered if she knew them. But, it was not her way to go nosing around. If he wished to share with her more then it would come in time at his leisure. Hopefully soon because she was naturally curious.
When he spoke on and mentioned losing someone she breathed in and automatically shrank back within her self, folded her legs back and brought her arms forward as if she was shielding her heart. "I can't say I wouldn't have allowed myself to feel anything if it meant less pain. I don't have vengeance on my mind. It's more seeping than that. Wounds such as these take a great deal of time to heal." her voice warbled. She looked up at him, "maybe it never does...?" it was open ended. She honestly didn't know.
