"I know it's a good sign," Sarah said with a sigh, "but I'm bothered by the whole thing anyhow. Like the healing part. It's so personal, you know? He puts so much of himself into healing people." She blew out a frustrated breath. "Which makes me a hypocrite, as I wouldn't be bothered if he healed some random stranger. I'm bothered because it's her."
Which was petty, she knew, especially in the face of Heidi's revelation. She ate the bite of ice cream, then withdrew the spoon.
