Finding himself curious about the reason for the security around her cellphone, Starscream watched her as she removed it from the safe, letting Skyfire fuss over the couch for the time being. "That's a phone, yes?" he inquired with a curious tilt of his head, curling the clothing to his chest as he approached and touched fingers to the cool plastic. "Why do you keep it locked up?" It seemed a little strange. He had seen humans with them against their ear every day; they didn't precisely look dangerous, or terribly valuable.
Perhaps it had something to do with her hatred of him, and her knowledge of the Decepticon forces.
He hesitated, glancing back toward Skyfire, before lowering his voice for Mikaela's ears only. "You have my thanks for not telling him about my role as a Decepticon. It may take.. time to explain." That was the understatement of the millenium. He didn't even know where to start. Especially since he didn't particularly want Skyfire to know about his involvement with Megatron. Oh, he knew that his self-destructive tendencies were particularly unhealthy, and likely spoke a great deal about how damaged he was, but.. he wanted to try to ignore that for as long as possible. He couldn't imagine how horrified Skyfire would be with him.
