"I probably could have handled myself better," Gabriel said quietly as he poured the cream into his coffee, tossing in two spoonfuls of sugar and stirring it slowly before slipping into the seat across from Peter. "Been less flippant about the whole thing, a little more...overtly sensitive, something..." Gabriel shook his head, taking a sip of the coffee to try and clear his mind. "I suppose there's no changing what happened now," He mumbled quietly into the mug.
And it might not have been the best idea to say things like that to someone who had been rather keen on the idea of killing the man, but... Well, it was Peter. There was very little that Gabriel could think of that he wouldn't be willing to tell Peter other than the things that he wasn't willing to tell anyone. "No changing what was said and done."
