"Oh, my feelings," Spike remarked. "The castle doesn't like me. What will I ever do?" He shot Buffy a look. One that clearly stated that he could not believe that he was getting himself involved with a moron who thought that his castle was capable of actually casting any sort of judgment on him. Castles weren't alive. He rolled his eyes and folded his arms over his chest, waiting for someone to take the lead so that they could get this bloody nightmare over with already.
At Buffy's final remark, Spike knew that there would only be an awkward silence to follow. There had to be, right? With a pair of stiffs like these Spike wouldn't expect any less. But he offered her an amused sort of look nonetheless.
