If she did offer to make him waffles, of coarse he would take it. He was a sucker for food really, almost any kind. Especially ones of waffly goodness. His brothers would say that Joe must have fallen asleep during the "don't talk or take anything from strangers" lesson, because he would talk to anyone about anything. He would probably talk to a brick wall if he thought he stood a chance at befriending it.
Most if spoken too about Quidditch who knew nothing of the Harry Potter world would probably question her retort. All he did was grin. "I bet you already are aces at it. I've always wanted to play." He remembered day dreaming about Quidditch while he read the Harry Potter series, wondering what it would be like to play for real. Fly in the clouds chasing a snitch or guarding the goals from the quaffles. "You'll be brilliant...i-is my guess." he shifted his eyes and saved himself from looking like a total fanboy nerd and smiled charmingly at her.
Until that little slip up he'd nearly hidden his Harry Potter fanboy side very well. " Weird Sisters?" He paused and laughed. "I think that's a good thing last time I checked, or I'd be very confused." Joe let the song fade into the background as they spoke, his fingertips still strummed the strings though his song for now was complete. It still had two more verses and a chorus to bring home, but it spoke for itself.
