Her words got a small, humorless grin from him. He'd showered before he'd left in an attempt to get rid of some of the feeling of the night's misdeeds, though it hadn't done much, but had nixed the suit and tie in order to blend in with the early morning Los Angeles crowd.
Very few people glanced at him dressed down and thought 'lawyer' which was all right with him. He preferred to stay low sometimes until the opportune moment arose to blindside his opponent. He'd gotten pretty damn good at it too, right out of high school. "Unfortunately, they're one and the same," he replied dryly. Or fortunately, seeing as he overdid it when it came to working hours.
"That'd almost be fitting," he murmured before holding out his hand to her. "It's been a pleasure talking with you again, Integra. Thank you for your hospitality."
