Lindsey wondered exactly what it was that Integra did to work off her stress. Dusting vampires did happen to have a theraputic quality to it, demons a little less so when they became harder to kill and as a result, the beatings became a little more painful. "Whoever isn't flocking to his side are probably out mourning their televisions," he replied dryly, not even the hangover dampening his sarcasm.
He hesitated only a moment before accepting the invitation. While getting into the car of someone he barely knew would be in most cases unadvisable, Lindsey had been living in the world he knew now long enough to know how to read someone, to try and get an idea of their intent. If she wanted him dead or as a bargaining tool, there were plenty better places and times. Being that she struck him as a very intelligent woman, she would know that too.
Besides, it would be out of the cheerful sunlight that was only further aggrevating the bass drum pounding along merrily in his head.
He accepted the invitation with a small nod, shifting his grip on the cup to one hand as he motioned to the door with his free hand. "Ladies first."
