As Lana hugged her, Lois was practically sobbing, hugging her back rather tightly. For the first time, it was as if someone finally understood, and be a bit empathetic. The Clark she now worked with had tried, but it wasn't the same.
Apparently, she'd needed this.
She'd needed another woman, someone who almost like a close friend, who was actually fairly close to being like someone she had known back home. Or maybe she had just needed a Lana, period. Someone who now knew what Clark was, or what hers had been, and kept the secret, too. This was exactly what she'd needed, all along.
