She took out the strip of pictures, and slowly handed it over to Lana. She did it delicately, as if it was her most prized possession, because it was. She was thankful her purse wasn't left behind, or she wouldn't have had it.
The pictures were the kind you'd get out of a booth at the mall or something, four or five different takes, one after another on a long strip of photo paper. They were fairly recently, only having been taken a week or so before his battle with Doomsday. He was usually clad in a flannel shirt, with a blue shirt underneath, and jeans. The pictures had been taken on a day off, when they'd flown to Smallville to visit his parents, and had stopped in a bit larger town nearby to go shopping before flying home. She was in every picture with him, and in nearly every picture, he was wearing his glasses. Only in the final picture were his glasses just about halfway off, thanks to Lois trying to pull them down in a playful gesture, as she kissed his cheek.
Lois knew just how familiar his face would be to Lana, as familiar as her own apparently was.
