His eyes were closed as he knelt there in the alley and he chewed his lower lip. If he were less stubborn in the ways of manlyness he'd probably be crying, but he refused. Even though he'd never been that terrified in his life, he couldn't bring out that kind of emotion. He just knelt there trying to catch his breath as his heart beat slowed and the echo in his ears was less and less.
"..Bitten? That thing was trying to bite me and like, eat me?" Joe frowned and tilted his head at the touch and closed his eyes. Rubbing the liquid that threatened them and trying to calm the sudden throbbing he felt attack his head.
His eyes opened as the hand neared him and he reached to take it. "Just a few hours too long. " His tried to make light of the situation. "I don't know where to go, my brother is here..but I don't know where. I lived in L.A. once, but this doesn't...nothing looks familiar. " Suddenly he realized something, and his face brightened slightly. "You know me?"
