Joe was scared. He tilted his head back away as far as he could before it gently hit the brick behind him and he winced. He struggled under the weight the vampire used against him to keep his meal still. He couldn't break free. A tiny sound escaped his lips of fear and helplessness, his fingertips curled into a fist, and his eyes closed.
He tried to cover his face with his hands, but his arms were blocked by the creatures own-and he thought he was done for. Biting the inside of his cheek his brows furrowed and his heart raced. Tongue wet his quickly drying lips and his throat feeling equally dry he found himself without words.
He was actually at a loss, and that was a feat. Any of his brothers could tell you, it took a special sort of person to silence Joe Jonas. Confusion was written over his face as the vampire simply obeyed. That was ...odd. He wasn't complaining when he was lowered to his feet though and his eyes shifted to Damien's. "...Whoever you are, thanks. That was amazing. I told it to just go away, but why did it listen to you? What was it?" He rambled as he touched the back of his neck. His hands were shaking. Hell his entire body was shaking. He gently dropped to his knees and panted softly, face drained of it's color. He was obviously very new to this city.
