"Definitely not." Cathy fell quiet for a moment, mentally interviewing conversation topics to keep Mary Jane's thought occupied. There was nothing worse than waiting while in pain, and likewise she didn't want to say anything that would cause her to dwell her on the attack.
"So you're an actress? What kind of theater?" she questioned. It was safe ground, she figured, but at the same time, Cathy was genuinely interested. While it wasn't her territory, if Mary Jane happened to be the classical theater sort, for example, she would be more than happy to keep an eye open for her on that front as well.
