"Enhancing is always good," Remus agreed. A smile cracked his face in two as he tried to imagine himeslf as a clothes horse and needing insane amounts of closet space. "If I could trade the closet space for a separate room for my books we'll be all set." The thought hit him that he was here and his books were not. Instantly the smile faded from his face and Remus felt as if he had been punched in the gut. He'd never been without his books. Ever.
In the day light, the kitchen would be exactly what it should be. He ached to get in it to actually cook. He wasn't sure if Tonks had set up this place herself or if it was how it had come when she rented it. In either case, it was bloody fantastic. "Essential indeed. Particularly as eating is necessary." He sucked in a breath, grinning as she wrapped her arms around him. It was an entirely different feeling when her stomach rested against him before the rest of her. "As someone around here is eating for two at the present."
Remus turned around to face Tonks, resting his hand on her belly. "Ah, yes, the bedroom where that man is waiting for me to break his kneecaps." Remus leaned down to kiss her, this time he held the kiss longer than was absolutely necessary. "Lead on, love," he said when they had finally pulled apart.
