Remus was glad for that. While he was fairly excited to hold a child in his arms (though, honestly, he would have preferred to have a few years with her before they thought about children), he wanted to have a few days to get used to the fact that he was about to be a father. Remus sighed contently as Tonks ran a hand along his arm. He may not have had to deal with a separation, but he could tell the time apart -- particularly pregnant -- had been far from easy.
"Some time is better than none," Remus replied softly.
He leaned into the kiss, knowing it was longer than he intended but he wasn't about to pull away either. "Am I going to stay?" he asked, hint of a smile on his face. "Well -- there is that mysterious man in the bedroom. Do I have to get by him first?"
