"I can't believe you're not a fan of Delphinus," Tonks said, still snickering and shaking her head. She'd been very good in Astronomy from an early age, perhaps thanks to the colourful variety of names on her family tree. Whatever the reason, she could flick off the names of various constellations and stars off the top of her head and she could think of none that made for suitable names for any children she would ever bare.
There was of course 'Sirius', but she didn't know how Remus would feel about the suggestion and to be honest, she felt Harry had dibs on it first.
"I think it only fair that with parents named Nymphadora and Remus, he get a name that doesn't tempt fate with the wolves and doesn't have his Hogwarts mates asking if he's addicted to sex... which did happen, mind you, don't laugh at me." Tonks nudged him in advance, knowing the barrage of laughter that could come from the stories of her teasing back in school. "Though, I'm not sure, if an twelve year old has to choose between being called a nymphomaniac or being a werewolf... yes, yes, I'm done."
Holding her hands up in surrender before she went too far, she returned his kiss to the cheek and settled back up against him. "We could always go for Theodore. Or John. Stereotypical, non suspecting, named for his grandfathers. Mum might twitch a bit for missing the mythological and astronomy parts, but no newborn needs all that on his shoulders."
