At least it was after -- it wasn't like Ted was going to come after him, weilding a shotgun and shouting obscenities. Then again, Dora wasn't a teenager and they were in Los Angeles, several years removed from where they got married. Remus closed his eyes, rubbing his temples. It was enough to give a person a migraine. "At least, if anyone asks, we can say it was done in the right order," Remus replied.
Surprise indeed. Remus just stared at Dora's stomach, wondering what he really thought of it. "WEll, there's not much that can be done, is there?" Remus asked softly. "Not that I'm upset, mind," he added quickly, reaching for her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Just -- a little sooner than I wanted."
Leaning over, Remus lightly kissed her cheek. "It's bloody fantastic is what it is."
