Remus accepted her response with a slight nod. Nothing was a decidedly good thing. While he'd have no problem with a child who was a werewolf, it was something he didn't want to have to deal with it and all the complications. It was one thing if they'd been in England but here in a strange city? His own monthly transformations were going to be enough of a problem as it was. But it was one less thing they'd have to worry about and Remus certainly wasn't about to complain. And if he came out with blue hair -- well, he'd picked up one of the many qualities he loved so much about Dora.
"Well, it's hard to say," Remus teased. "In those couple of months, you could have found another one who you wanted to live with. He's lurking in the bedroom isn't he?" Remus lightly kissed her cheek, one arm draped around her shoulders. "A few of them responded to that computer message," Remus said. "It's good to see some around -- I can't imagine being alone and trying to figure out everything on my own."
Absently, Remus ran his hand over her stomach, trying to get used to the idea that he was about to be a dad. A dad. Remus's hand faltered, falling away to sit in his lap as he realised just what this meant. "bloody hell," he breathed, looking down at Dora's stomach. Yes, here was that final moment of sheer panic. "Were you... pregnant before or after we... and did you know?" he asked softly.
