Well, she seemed to know what went bump bump bump in the night and was prepared for it but ever since her favorite professor had sent her to another dimension out of jealousy, Fred had been just a little hesitant to trust anyone. It'd taken Angel and his gang saving her life for her to even begin with them.
"Yeah. Kinda. I don't know anymore," Fred admitted. Only a year ahead of hers and she felt so lost. No one remembered her, the friends she had were long gone, Angel was running loose without a soul again, and Cordy...her gut twisted again at the thought of what he was putting her through and anger flared up. She may not have trusted the stranger but she did have to get to the Hyperion.
"You can come with me, but I don't know you at all so I'm just gonna give you a warning that if you cause trouble I'm not gonna stand for it because things are on a tight schedule," she replied sternly. On anyone else it might've sounded threatening, but coming from Fred it usually provoked a mixed response of amusement and obedience. It wasn't a stance she took often and usually surprised those around her but she was set on what she had to do now. "It's this way." She pointed for a brief second before resuming her quick walk down the street.
