No matter how adjusted she thought she had become to all the superhero business, an unexpected display of the associated powers still made her brows go up a bit. Admittedly she should have expected it, knowing who Clark was, but there was still, and would likely always be, that thin veil of willful disbelief.
"Angela, you could go with Clark, if neither of you is opposed to the idea. Between the two of you we can probably get a good estimation of how many towels and sheets we might need, and two pairs of eyes is more likely to catch sight of anything else that might be put to good use." She turned her attention to Monica as she approached. "Always. How handy are you in the kitchen? With tensions running this high, I imagine we'll all either be working up an apetite or forgetting to eat out of sheer frustration. A small set-up for anyone wanting to help keep watch or just wants to avoid the sharp, pointy things for a while might do us all a world of good."
