"It's the least I could do," Gabriel said, smiling at Heidi as he stared dully at the computer screen. It was better than the useless feeling that was sinking over him right now. He had a sickening feeling that no matter what he did, this simply wasn't going to work. Leaning forward, Gabriel sighed and tapped out a quick line of commands, setting the computer to auto search and auto troubleshoot before looking up at the two woman, offering Angela the softest of smiles that he could manage. He didn't want to frighten her. That was the last thing he wanted to do to anyone.
"Do you two need some help? It'll be better than me sitting here making myself," Gabriel almost said insane, but clipped off the speech and amended it quickly, "even more frustrated."
