Kathy didn't resist the embrace, instead wrapping her arms around Sarah and taking some comfort in what the older woman had to say. While she said very convincingly that it wasn't her fault, the child still had a hard time believing it. "I should have known," she whimpered, though no tears came. "He was...weird."
