He was never surprised when people assumed that he was pure and unyielding evil. Lindsey could see the logic behind it, working for a demonic law firm and some of the actions he had taken. But it was an assumption nonetheless and when it came to Lindsey, incorrect. "No," he replied but offered nothing else in explanation, though he was slightly pleased when she admitted it didn't surprise her.
Like him, she could probably see the individual for who and what they were without preconceived notions getting in the way or taking a more romantic, simpler view of the world. Good and bad, black and white. "I have nothing against team work under the right conditions. It takes a certain amount of trust in the people you work with, even if you are the leader." He remembered going into battle under Angel, how after he had done his part, he'd uttered the word 'team' and meant it. It'd been a good feeling...until two bullets had taken him down.
"I would agree with you." Lindsey reached up to run a hand through his hair, pushing it away from his face. "I do agree with you that conflict of belief is a major part of seperation within groups. However, I'm thinking more of the stupidity on the part of the higher powers." He glanced down the row of books.
"They're paying no mind to personalities when they're bringing people here. Some are used to a position of leadership, some just won't take orders from anyone, others are fine to be led. They bring people here haphazardly, no warning, with an expectation that sides are supposed to form down a clear split. I have no illusions that it won't happen with either side, or isn't already." He grinned slightly and smirked. "And it wouldn't necessarily take someone that they brought here either."
