Elaine Belloc did not seem bothered, saddened by Bella’s choice, but ultimately respected it. How couldn’t she? That was how the world was like. Lucifer had said to her, they would never stop from hating and killing each others. There was nothing they could do about it.
For a brief second she wondered how much had Lucifer cared back when he was still Samael and how cynic had these billions of years made him. She feared she would experience the same disappointment and afterward apathy.
