Having just been handed her drink, Darla took a long sip of it before turning to peer curiously at the man who had spoken. Her brow furrowed a little and she glanced over her shoulder to see if perhaps he was speaking to someone else, before looking back to him. Her lips curved upward into an easy, sensual sort of smile. He was definitely handsome enough... and had a feel about him that wasn't quite up to par. Intriguing.
Of course, he also thought she was someone else and, chances are, that someone else probably meant a lot to him. Her luck was going that way, as of late it seemed, and Darla simply wasn't in the mood tonight to try to convince some human that she was worth cheating on his wife.
"Sorry," she replied lightly, "but you clearly have me confused with someone else."
There was a soft groan from the man on the floor and she casually glanced in his direction. He still wasn't moving. Just whimpering a bit. It was rather pathetic, really. With a mildly disgusted look, she turned back to her drink.
