She wasn't going to back down, was she? Peter growled internally, unsure for the moment whether to let Nathan know what was going on, or to try and keep it to himself. Peter stepped back, keeping the distance between them as she moved forward. "I'm not turning on anyone. You're the one coming after me."
Not that it would be much defense if Logan heard about this. Wolverine wasn't the type to listen to reason when it came to Rogue. Or Cordelia.
Still, Peter wasn't afraid of Logan. Certainly the man could seriously injure him. But he doubted either of them would be able to kill the other. It would, however, be a long and draining encounter. One that he didn't have time for in this city.
